Part one of the first new set of Ultramodern releases since 2002 ...

An edition of 25 7" singles, each of which contain one unique 2-second locked-groove loop cut by Ben Soundhog of Plastidisc from random parts of a ten second long track recorded by the members of Ultramodern.

Each single has a slightly different loop. A single rotation of each disc has been recorded and edited into a 3-minute long downloadable track. The number of the track relates to the number of the single from which it originates - therefore, if you buy single 17/25 then the track LOC1-17 is derived from your disc.

The records have hand-printed catalogue numbers and are housed in home-made, hand-numbered acetate sleeves.

Perhaps the only record ever made consisting of a solitary locked-groove. It doesn't look like much, but will play forever, until it wears through to the other side ....
